| Bio: | Player Name: Mike Character Name: Merlin (also known by "Emrys") PB: Colin Morgan Fandom: BBC Merlin Age: 18 Eyes: Blue (though a brief yellow glow when doing magic) Hair: Black Marital Status: Single Education: He has a basic knowledge of history, customs, and beliefs. He is also learning more every time he reads through Gaius' book that was given to him. Family: Balinor - Father Hunith - Mother Gaius - Uncle Items in possession upon arrival: Book of Magic (originally Gaius' grimoire that was passed to Merlin), Sidhe staff, knapsack with miscellaneous daily items Known Likes: He likes to do magic, but often has to be careful in using it since all it takes is one time being caught and going to the gallows. He likes to help other people. He also enjoys learning new things, has a hunger for knowledge. Known Dislikes: He doesn't like sleeping in cells or being put on stocks (or fruit thrown at him), though that is usually his own fault since he sometimes speaks out of turn or is incapable of keeping his peace when he should. He is also not a fan of awkward moments between himself and other people. Fears: His biggest fear is that his magical skills are made public, which he feels would most assuredly lead to Uther ordering his execution (due to the current ban on magic in Camelot). Beyond that, he is afraid of Arthur learning his secret and rejecting him for it. He's also fearful that Gaius will die and thus leave him alone in the world, since he has lost his mother, as well as childhood friend Will. Powers: He has a vast potential for magic. Much of what he can do is untapped and unknown to him, but the potential is there.. and he is still learning. Currently, he has been able to slow or stop time, conjure items, affect his environment, slight (if occasionally shoddy) telekinesis, sense magic, telepathy with other magic users. Most of what he can do are a result of incantations. Since his father died, and had been a dragonlord, that form of magic passed into Merlin; he can now communicate, tame, or kill dragons. Weaknesses: He can be beaten or bound by normal means, unless he uses magic to get out of it. Can probably be killed.. although the power "over life and death" is something else that pertains to him as it had to Nimeuh.
